Der kommende DLC für Dragon Age II soll nach der Aussage von Luke Barrett länger werden als alle bisher dagewesenen Erweiterungspakete zum ersten Teil des Spiels Dragon Age Origins, natürlich ausschließlich des AddOns "Awakening".
Er selbst schätzt die Spieldauer auf rund drei Stunden:

If I were to take a guess I would say the average first playthrough is going to be about 3 hours - now, you can rush through and finish it faster but you'll miss a lot. Alle Begleiter werden neue Gesprächsoptionen haben, wobei Varric und Anders eine besondere Bedeutung zukommen soll:

Fans der Romanzen im Spiel könnten ein bisschen enttäuscht sein, weil Fernando Melo angekündigt hat, es werde keine besonderen neuen Dialogoptionen mit den jeweiligen digitalen Lieblingen geben.
Allerdings werden bestehende Beziehungen im Partybanter erkannt:

There are no new romance specific conversation scenes with your companion. But as part of party banter Legacy does recognize your romance - and I recall in at least one case when playing through, it had a surprise in store during party banter in this regard when my Hawke had no one romanced.
Die Empfehlung der Entwickler lautet im Übrigen, die Erweiterung im fortgeschrittenen Akt 1 oder frühen Akt 3 zu spielen, auch wenn der Einstieg jederzeit möglich sein soll.
